ScriptServer PAN Printing System V2.1.1
The ScriptServer®
PAN Printing System is a full-featured, highly distributed network
printing environment with robust electronic forms capabilities.
Licensing Info: ScriptServer PAN is licensed on a per-queue basis.
The entry-level license supports five queues. Additional queue packs may
be purchased separately.
Client licenses are free, and may run from any supported operating system
within the TCP/IP network, including command line clients on operating
systems other than the host running the PAN master server software.
A queue represents a network-wide holding area for a single printer connection.
Multiple queues may be configured for a single printer, but this is not
required to provide different layouts or feature sets. For example, you
need not create a separate queue for printing text files in landscape
orientation. This functionality is achieved through "forms",
which can print on any PAN print queue.
Downloading ScriptServer PAN
ScriptServer PAN can be downloaded
here for evaluation purposes. The software will run for five days
and will drive up to five queues. If you would like an extended evaluation
period or would like to test with more queues, please request
a license key.
ScriptServer PAN Documentation
Platform-specific installation and configuration information is provided
in the PAN installer document INSTALL.PAN. Documentation for using the
product is provided within the browser interface through context-sensitive
help.
