Abstract

Starting with version 4.5, XENTIS will produce HTML output.

Creating reports that can be viewed with a web browser is something that all report writers should be able to do. With XENTIS, reports viewed with a web browser look exactly like the reports printed on paper.

Discussion

XENTIS produces HTML output with the data surrounded by preformatted (<PRE>) tags.

Each HTML page contains one or more pages of the report, as determined by the report definition. If the total number of pages exceeds the number of pages specified for a single HTML page, multiple HTML pages are generated along with an index page.

Include files allow customization of the portions of the pages preceding and following the data which is surrounded by the <PRE> and </PRE> tags.
