The following document discusses the memory management error that you may get when you upgrade your ScriptServer software to 5.1-4 or later on an Alpha system running version 6.2 or later of OpenVMS.
Only Alpha systems - not VAXes - running OpenVMS version 6.2 or later may experience a memory management error when upgrading to scriptserver 5.1-4 or 5.1-5. You will see the following OPCOM messages if REPLY/ENABLE Has been turned on.
GrayMatter Software is providing a replacement symbiont image that solves the problem, called SSV$SMB_71A.EXE. This image can be downloaded. There is also a readme file by the name of README.SMB_71A which contains instructions on implementing the fix. This fix is temporary. Contact us for download information.
