GrayMatter Software Introduces ScriptServer PAN V1.5
SEATTLE, WA - November 2, 2005 - GrayMatter Software today announced the release of version 1.5 of the ScriptServerŽ PAN Printing System. The flagship product provides advanced enterprise-class printing servicesand output management on a distributed, network-wide basis.
Significant improvements to ScriptServer PAN include a completely rewritten Microsoft Windows print interface, support for a default queue and form for jobs originating through the LPD Gateway, and a new flush queue operation. Intelligent area queue routing now ensures that jobs will be routed to the print queue in the area that can provide the necessary resources to print the job successfully, such as duplex, form images, color support, or the necessary paper stock.
This release adds multi-page form support to it's best-of-breed electronic forms capabilities. This is also the first version to support the IBM AIX operating system as the server platform..Pricing and Availability
ScriptServer PAN 1.5 is available now. Entry level pricing is $1,990 for the full server software functionality (including electronic forms) and the first five print queues. Additional print queues are available at extra cost. Unlimited client software licenses are free. Customers under software maintenance contracts receive the new version for free.
